The month of August and September have so many things to look forward to...
It is an auspicios month for so many around me.....our neighbours are observing their month long fast during Ramzan. My husband' mother observes Shravan Mahina, so lots of naivedya for god, shravan tuesdays and fridays and ofcourse the mangala gowri. I personally njoy it for the Raksha Bandhan, Vara Lakshmi Vratam and ofcourse Krishna Jayanti, my husband' favourite God. This ofcourse is followed by favourite of many including myself Lord Ganesha, Ganesh Chaturthi is on 11 Sept this year.
