We are well into Christmasy mood with soothing mumbai winters and my blog has not been tended to since a long time. (I love gardening so the phrase). This year ganesh chaturti was simple at our place, the 'modern lifestyle" asking us to be health conscious and not indulge in sweetmeats :)
Ganesh Chaturti in Mumbai is a big affair with lots of local pandals with their huge ganesh idols. We did manage to visit a few pandals around our home this year, the famous D.N. Nagar ganesh mandal and ofcourse our very own "Andhericha Raja" at Veera Desai.
